Kale has been eaten for thousands of years and is extremely nutritious. People usually cook kale in order to eat it, but a salad with young kale leaves is also an option. Because it contains so many vitamins and minerals, it has a variety of benefits for people who consume it regularly.

One of the main reasons why kale keeps your body healthy is because it has several nutrients your body needs. Kale contains a lot of fiber which helps regulate the GI system. It helps your body digest food more easily.

Kale has more iron in it than red meat. This is very impressive. Iron is a vital nutrient that helps transport oxygen, and it ensures your liver will stay healthy.

Kale also has a large amount of Vitamin K in it. Vitamin K is a vital nutrient in the fight against cancer; it will lower your chance of developing several kinds of cancer. Kale also has a variety of antioxidants which also play a role in prevention of cancer.

Kale has many nutrients in it that will help stop the pain and problems caused by arthritis and certain auto-immune diseases. Kale contains a lot of omega-3 fatty acids in it; these fatty acids reduce inflammation and will help prevent and alleviate inflammatory diseases like arthritis.

The many nutrients in kale will strengthen your immune system. This will help your body heal faster, and it’ll also protect you from many bacteria and viruses.

Kale contains Vitamin C; this vitamin is known to give the body a boost of natural energy to allow you to feel great and be more productive each day. Iron is another nutrient that is necessary to keep your energy level up, and kale has high amounts of it. All in all, being healthier because you have the nutrients you need will increase your energy levels, and kale is a vital tool in the fight against fatigue.

Kale has a slightly bitter taste, but it can be softened by cooking and flavoring it. With so many vitamins and minerals in it, kale is very beneficial for anyone that regularly consumes this vegetable.
